Know Jesus?
It doesn't matter where you are in life right now
Maybe you know God but want to be closer to Him; maybe you don't know Him at all Wherever you are, whatever state your life is in Whatever you have believed - maybe even all your life Whatever struggles you may have, whatever problems you are facing Or even if you have no problems... but you know something is missing No matter your age, your race, your background, your beliefs - God's arms are open to you. He loves you. Come to your Heavenly Father's embrace. The Lord Jesus Christ loves and cares about you and everything in your life. He is knocking at the door of your heart (Rev. 3:20) He wants to save, heal and deliver you. He cares more about having a relationship with you than you having a perfect performance. Spending time with God and in His Word will improve your performance. He is Almighty God; He is powerful and His Word is powerful. He will change your life - for the better - if you let Him. |
God's Simple Plan of Salvation
Man is sinful. "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." (Romans 3:23)
Yet God loved the world so much that He sent a Savior. “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten Son (Jesus), so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” (John 3:16)
Jesus invites sinners to receive Him. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened and I will cause you to rest. I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls." (Matthew 11:28).
WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BE SAVED?
Believe in Jesus. “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ; give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31; Romans 5:8)
Acknowledge and confess (tell someone of) the Lord Jesus Christ before other people. "If you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9; John 1:12).
Understand that salvation is a FREE gift that cannot be earned; it can only be received. "For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through your faith. And this salvation is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
If you want to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, pray this prayer (or something similar in your own words):
"Dear Lord Jesus, I realize I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn away from my sins and I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. Come in and change my heart, my mind and my life; I make You my Lord and Savior. Thank You Lord for saving me. Thank You that I am now a child of God. Amen."
It is important to note that salvation through Jesus Christ is not by formulas or special prayers. What is important is believing in Him and acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior in your own heart and words.
