About God's Word of Power
The God's Word of Power website was launched in July 2013 to provide free Bible studies and inspiration. New content is being added regularly; please check back often. Thank you for visiting and God bless you!
My name is Karen; I am the writer and designer for God's Word of Power. I am a born again, Spirit-filled Christian. I believe in the power of God and His Word, and that His power is available to us TODAY. My religious affiliations from childhood through my seeker years include Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopal, Greek Orthodox, Evangelical, Baptist, Southern Baptist and Assemblies of God.
In recent years, I felt led to join a Pentecostal/Word Faith church which has become like a second home. Yet I value everything I learned through each of these church affiliations. Rather than focus on denomination, I prefer to embrace all who call Jesus as Lord and Savior, and celebrate our common beliefs, according to His prayer that we would all be one (John 17:21).
The Lord led me to create this site as an extension of Bible studies I'd been doing and spiritual blogs I'd written. My intent is to use this site to more easily share Bible studies with friends and associates around the world, to encourage and inspire others, and to reach more people in sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - offering God's love, grace, mercy and power that is available to "whosoever" will come to Him (Acts 2:21).
My heart’s deepest desire is to see people set free of the bondages and strongholds of the enemy, and come to the Lord Jesus, living in vital daily communion with Him so that they dwell in the secret (and safe) place of the Most High (Psalm 91). May God be glorified in all that I do!
